ISO 45001:2018 Training Courses

ISO 45001:2018, the new standard replacing OHSAS 18001:2007 has been published. With inputs of experts from more than 70 countries, this standard was developed taking into account related standards such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labor Organization’s ILO-OSH 2001 guidelines and relevant national standards.

Why this standard?

This standard is intended to help organizations, big or small, regardless of the industry, in designing systems to proactively prevent injury and ill health by providing a safe and healthy workplace for workers and persons under an organization’s control.

Full Awareness Course

This is an in-depth course, with a clause-by-clause discussion of the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018. This includes workshop exercises and technical discussions on organizational context, understanding the needs of internal and external interested parties and associated risks and opportunities.

This course is designed  to enable participants to:

Identify and understand the key differences between OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 45001:2018

Find out what needs to be revised in your current OH&S management system

Understand new requirements relating to Context, Leadership, Planning, Support and Operation

Facilitate integration of an OH&S to existing management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Internal Audit Course

This course is designed to enable participants to:  develop the necessary skills to assess and evaluate their organization’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System performance based on ISO 45001:2015 and establish a risk-based plan to determine the priorities of effective internal audit activity.

 

This course covers principles of effective internal audit following ISO 19011 and features a balance of lectures, group workshops and open forum discussions for successful audit planning, preparation, performance and reporting.
