ISO 45001:2018, the new standard replacing OHSAS 18001:2007 was published in March 2018. With inputs of experts from more than 70 countries, this standard was developed taking into account related standards such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labor Organization’s ILO-OSH 2001 guidelines and relevant national standards.

ISO 45001:2018 applies to organizations implementing health and safety measures in their day-to-day business operations. Further, like the earlier ISO Standards, Occupational Health and Safety Management System can be integrated with other ISO standards applicable to the organisation.
