BJMP Awarding
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) has retained its ISO Certification awarded by Sir. Gilmore A. Rivera, Operations Director of SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. held at BJMP Main Conference Hall, BJMP National Headquarters last 25th of July 2022.
Bureau of Jail Management and Penology is an organization in which they are mandated to take operational and administrative control all over city, district and municipal jails. It was created to lecture growing concern of jail management and penology problem. The Bureau has an integral purpose of informing the public of jail operations and other matters concerning the corrections pillar of the Philippines.
“Since we decided to accept the challenge of ISO and recognize ourselves as ISO-Certified last 2018, we have been consistent in our excellent quality management systems”, said BJMP Chief JDIR Allan S. Iral, CESE. This awarding ceremony is a beacon of hope for the whole BJMP and optimistically, sooner or later all the regional offices of the BJMP will be I-S-O Certified, he added.
